It’s that time of the year already: time to start the training season for the Los Angeles Marathon 2017. Join the LA Leggers, the largest running/walking club in Southern California. There are many good reasons to do that, but there is one special reason and that is they have my designs on shirts and cooler lunch bags for members. ๐Ÿ™‚ Here is a pic of the lunch bag. Photos of runners wearing shirts with graphics I designed are coming soon.

Firecracker Shirt on Griffith Park Trail

It’s always a good feeling to see my work on display around town. I remember seeing race shirts I’ve designed over the years being worn by runners at marathons, joggers with baby strollers around the Rose Bowl, gym goers, kids in restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley, guests of the people I know at parties, and I’ve even seen Facebook photos of dogs wearing “my” shirts in the winter too — How cool is that? ๐Ÿ™‚ Sometimes during races, I would slow down a little as I was passing the people who wore race shirts with my designs on them and said, “Hey, I designed that!” They often said, “Oh yeah? I love your work.” That made my day every time. ๐Ÿ™‚ Here is a photo I took of a runner in the Griffith Park Trail Marathon Relay more than a week ago. She wore the LA Chinatown Firecracker race shirt I designed a few years back.

The best posters donโ€™t just illustrate history โ€“- they shape it. Those are our kind of posters. Weโ€™ve brought together 50 custom poster prints that rocked our world (or the world of printing, graphics and art) in big and small ways.”
